I graduated from Oakwood College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a minor in History. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Andrews SDA University. I was very proud to receive the South Central Conference Teacher of the Year Award. I received a check for one thousand dollars.
Students are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Christ that is meaningful and transformational. Daily Bible lessons are geared toward character development and a growing awareness to serve others. Children (at all grade levels) participate in various communities, urban and global projects to foster a servant’s heart for those less fortunate.
Projects typically include: Food drives, visits to retirement homes, inner-city toy and food distribution even a eighth grade Missions trip!
In the words of one of our students, “You’re never too young to serve Christ!”
